They are simply far too fast to the point they can outmaneuver pretty much any other units to launch multiple hit and runs against however many bases they want. Every time I try to engage the air units just fly around to the other side of my base out of my units range, then when I get over to them they just do the same thing AGAIN!!! I mean this is just so ridiculous, and it's exactly why I encounter multiple people massing air units In literally every single match. I think my biggest problem with air is that they are so ridiculously faster than my reavers. God help me if two enemy teams full of hornets or banshees attack at once as that's effectively an automatic win for them.

No expansions, no hooks, no creeps - just chaotic battles and/or counter-rush training exercises. It seems no matter how many reavers or wolverines I make they always get melted one by one by a massive swarm of air units, unless they're all clumped together and I destroy them with a leader power these mass air swarms are basically invincible in my experience. (On a side note, Cleansing/ Repairs as a Skirmish/Multiplayer map - perhaps renamed " Boarding Action" - would be intense. This status would change at Mission 14 as the Spirit of Fire's crew are openly discussing facilitating the destruction of the Etran Harborage and all that is contained within.Īs for Repairs, if at all possible, could we potentially have an All Middle-type map experience with a UNSC base next to the Core and a Covenant base near the forward end of the ship, all playing under the Domination ruleset? This would increase the tension wrt struggling to repair the damage while under an intense Covenant assault and while it might not be a primary/secondary objective, the challenge of pushing up through the stream of Covenant units (reconstructing turrets and airlocks along the way to bolster firepower and deliver reinforcements quicker) to eventually wreck the Covenant citadel and kick the Covie presence off the ship would be quite a satisfying accomplishment. If the crew of CFV-88 never engages the Sentinels in the first place, the Shield World's intelligence subsequently would not aggro them. In the original game, the caretaker intelligence of Shield World 0459 only flags the UNSC as hostile after human units/turrets destroy 30ish Sentinels. If there is one request/wish I have for the last mission of Act 3 (TOW: SW0459 Exterior), it would be that the Sentinels aren't aggressive to the Spirit of Fire during the Cleansing level. Then again, doing so would go against the intention of the level, so I guess that makes sense.

Awesome update Mission 9 is a long grind of a level and my largest regret with Mission 10 is that there is not enough time to completely clear out the map on harder difficulties.
